A brand new week of NBC’s “Poker After Dark” premieres on Monday. In fact, the new cycle, a $150,000 Cash Game, is so big that it will span two weeks. The blinds will be $300/$600 with an ante of $100 and the game features a rock solid lineup of pros.

Two players will make their “Poker After Dark” debuts during the $150,000 Cash Game. Former hockey pro and dual bracelet Greg Mueller, dubbed “FBT” in poker circles, will take to the “Poker After Dark” suite for the first time. Mueller won the World Championship of Limit Hold’em during the 2009 World Series of Poker (WSOP) for $460,000. Seventeen events later, he captured another piece of hardware in a $1,500 Limit Hold’em Shootout for another $195,000.

No, this isn’t some sort of early April Fools Day joke. Season 7 of the popular GSN cash game series “High Stakes Poker” will feature former “Saturday Night Live” star Norm MacDonald as its host. The new cycle will premiere on Saturday, February 26th at 8:00pm ET and be shown in 3D. It will re-air each Sunday at 11:00pm ET in case you missed any of the action.

The seventh season of “High Stakes Poker” was filmed in December at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. A new location also means a brand new host, with Gabe Kaplan giving way to MacDonald. Kara Scott, a PartyPoker pro, will reprise her role as hostess. Last season, GSN officials axed longtime “High Stakes Poker” host A.J. Benza in favor of Scott.

The seventh season of GSN’s “High Stakes Poker” will debut on Saturday, February 26th. The show moves from its customary Sunday night time slot to Saturday this time around. Once again, Gabe Kaplan will provide solo commentary in the booth and Kara Scott will conduct interviews from the poker room floor.

The series was filmed last month at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and is now just a few short weeks from airing on the cable station. It will hit the airwaves at 8:00pm ET and PT on GSN and may not feature any Full Tilt Poker pros this time around, as rival site PokerStars officially sponsors the show. Therefore, “High Stakes Poker” Season 7 may be void of players like Phil Ivey, Tom “durrrr” Dwan, and Patrik Antonius.

POKER PROductions is the company that produces shows such as "High Stakes Poker" and "Poker After Dark", and, according to their Twitter feed, HSP 7 will be debuting on February 26th. February 26th is a Saturday, meaning that "High Stakes Poker" will be airing on a different night than in previous years (it has previously aired on Sunday nights). Ultimately the decision on which night of the week that High Stakes Poker will air lies with GSN, so we should probably wait for their official press release before assuming that HSP will now be airing on Saturday nights.
